To ensure the safety and security of all students on campus, the following arrival, departure, and identification procedures must be strictly followed by all families.
1. Security ID Cards #
A. Each family will receive two official student security ID cards for each enrolled student.
B. These ID cards must be used when picking up students from school.
C. The student security ID card must never be given to the student.
D. Any student found carrying the ID card will receive a disciplinary referral.
E. If a security ID card is lost, the family must report it immediately to the school office and request a replacement.
2. Student Arrival Time #
A. All students are expected to arrive at school before 8:00 a.m.
B. The school campus opens at 7:00 a.m. each day.
C. Parents and drivers must not drop off students before 7:00 a.m., as supervision is not available before this time.
3. Student Pick-Up Procedure #
A. In order for a student to leave the school compound, the person picking up the student must present the official student security ID card.
B. Students will not be released without the presentation of the ID card.
C. Parents, drivers, or family members who forget the ID card will be required to return home and bring the ID card before the student can be released.
4. Security Compliance #
The school maintains these procedures to ensure the safety of every student on campus.
Families who attempt to remove a student from campus without following the security ID card procedure place all students at risk and may face serious disciplinary action from the school administration.
5. Students Leaving School Independently #
A. If a family wishes for their child to leave school independently (go home alone), this authorization must be signed and documented during the registration process.
B. Changes to this arrangement will not be permitted after October 1.
C. After this date, the school will not issue “Go Home Alone” permissions.
6. Early Student Pick-Up #
A. If a parent needs to pick up a student before the end of the school day, the parent must report to the school office.
B. The parent must sign the student out at the office.
C. After approval by the site director, the office will issue a gate pass.
D. The gate pass must be presented to security personnel before the student is allowed to leave the campus.
