The regular school day at the American International School of Ethiopia (AISE) begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. All students are expected to arrive on campus before 8:00 a.m. so they are prepared and ready to begin classes on time.
- The school campus opens at 7:00 a.m. Students should not arrive before this time, as supervision is not available prior to 7:00 a.m.
- Students who are not enrolled in the After-School Program must be picked up promptly at 3:00 p.m.
- For safety and supervision reasons, students may not remain on campus after school hours without authorization or participation in a supervised program.
Snacks and Lunch #
Parents are requested to provide their child with a healthy snack and a nutritious lunch each day. Students should also bring a clean water bottle with drinking water to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Punctuality #
Families are encouraged to leave home by 7:00 a.m. to allow sufficient travel time and help ensure students arrive at school on time and avoid tardiness.
Punctual arrival helps students start the day calmly and fully participate in all learning activities.
