This policy outlines the appropriate use of school technology systems including computers, tablets, smart boards, internet access, digital platforms, and the school Learning Management System (LMS).
Purpose of Technology Use #
Technology at AISE is provided to support:

- Communication between teachers and students

- Access to online learning resources
Students are expected to use technology in a safe, responsible, and respectful manner.
Acceptable Use #
Students may use school technology to:
- Access educational materials and assignments
- Complete LMS activities and online worksheets
- Conduct research for school projects
- Communicate with teachers regarding academic work
- Participate in approved educational platforms
Unacceptable Use #
Students may not use school technology for the following:
- Accessing inappropriate or harmful websites
- Cyberbullying, harassment, or disrespectful communication
- Downloading unauthorized software or applications
- Attempting to bypass school internet security systems
- Sharing personal login information or passwords
- Recording or photographing others without permission
Device Responsibility #
Students who use school-provided or personal devices must:
- Handle devices carefully and responsibly
- Keep login credentials secure
- Charge devices before coming to school when required
- Report technical problems or damage immediately
Students are responsible for the proper care of school technology resources.
Internet Safety #
AISE promotes safe and responsible internet use. Students are expected to:
- Protect their personal information online
- Respect the privacy of others
- Use digital communication respectfully
- Report inappropriate content or online behavior to a teacher or administrator
Consequences of Misuse #
Failure to follow the Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Temporary or permanent loss of technology privileges
- School disciplinary action
- Parent notification
- Additional consequences in accordance with school policies
